Modernize your 1988-1998 OBS C1500 pickup with a bolt-on Ridetech HQ Coil-Over suspension system. Includes tubular front A-arms, rear trailing arms with R-joints, heavy duty rear C-Notch brackets with crossmember, HQ Series monotube coilovers, 2″ drop spindles, and a big front sway bar. The rear wishbone bolts to the axle housing and pivots off the upper tubular upper crossmember — which is a work of art. You can adjust the coil-overs to set your truck’s ride height. There is no better way to adjust the stance of your vehicle to suit your wheel and tire combination, vehicle weight, and personal preference. The shocks’ rebound adjustment helps you fine-tune ride quality. The shocks carry a 1,000,001 mile warranty. We can’t say enough good things about Ridetech’s shocks with respect to both handling and ride characteristics.

The rear suspension consists of tubular trailing arms with Ridetech R-joints. A wishbone serves as the upper link and locates the rear axle. R-joints are much quieter than rod ends and have a long service life. Over all, the suspension system is 100% bolt-on. The upper coilovers mount to a crossmember that ties together the chassis with the C-notches.

The front sway bar features slick end links that are less prone to binding. Hardware and complete instructions are included. All suspension components are powder-coated.

Specify 10 bolt or 14 bolt rear (454SS) as well as if your truck has 1″ thick front brake rotors or 1.25″ thick front brake rotors.
