Description

Transform your 1973-1980 C10 pickup with a SPEC Series chassis by Roadster Shop.  The ultra-rigid chassis design replaces your truck’s antiquated suspension and steering with a 4-link, rack & pinion steering, and adjustable coilovers. This standard drop chassis significantly lowers your “square fender” pickup. Slammed chassis can be custom-ordered with an additional drop. Roadster Shop’s “Laser Rail” technology CNC cuts and contours frame rails and crossmembers for a perfect fit and true bolt-on installation. Kilgore Kustoms offers these chassis kits in our Stage 1 configuration that includes critical options. It’s the stuff that you will need anyway like a front sway bar.  We ordered this chassis with RS SV by Fox coilovers that help you fine-tune ride height. Kilgore Kustoms supplies a standard rear axle that can accommodate wide rubber in conjunction with Roadster Shop’s SPEC rear frame rail width.  Your C10’s bed must be mini-tubbed to take full advantage of this feature.  This chassis features Stage 1 upgrades. C10 Square Fender SPEC Chassis Features – Standard Drop

• Standard drop
• RS exclusive “Laser Rails” precision CNC laser cut and contoured Crossmembers and chassis bracing to allow for 3″•exhaust
• No floor modifications are required for chassis installation
• Trans tunnel mods may be necessary for larger T-56 and 4L80 transmissions
• Utilizes factory body, bumper, and core support mounts for a true bolt-on installation

Front Suspension – SPEC IFS

• Wilwood Pro pin-type spindle with Chevy 5 × 4.75″ bolt pattern
• Roadster Shop SV by Fox fixed valve mono-tube coilovers
• Power rack & pinion steering
• Easy to adjust upper a-arm eccentric mounts for fast and accurate alignments

SPEC Rear Suspension:

• Parallel 4-Bar rear suspension
• RS SV by Fox fixed valve mono-tube coilovers
• Ford 9″ housing with 31 spline axles with Chevy 5 × 4.75″ bolt pattern
• Rear frame rails will accommodate up to a 345mm wide tire (when mini-tubbed)
