Description

The ZZ427 Crate Engine is the spiritual successor to Chevrolet’s legendary L88 engine. The mighty L88 was said to output around 500 horsepower thanks to a giant solid roller cam and high compression. The ZZ427 outputs 480 horsepower and accomplishes that feat with a street-friendly hydraulic roller cam on pump gas. So it’s better than the original. A 4 bolt main iron block is combined with high-flow, fast burn aluminum cylinder heads and a single 770cfm Holley 4150 carburetor. An HEI distributor is included. The 10.1:1 compression ratio requires premium pump gas. Check out the complete specs below
