Description
Upgrade your 1967-1969 Camaro or Firebird with a Roadster Shop SPEC Series chassis. The design converts your unibody into a full tubular chassis with modern suspension and exceptional rigidity—the result is outstanding handling and ride quality with lowered ride height. The bolt-on chassis replaces your front subframe and leaf springs, then bolts to your factory unibody mounting points. The only possible mods are for larger transmission clearance, such as T-56 or 4L80E, and/or mini-tubs. Your car’s stock rear frame rails remain intact. The rear 4-link suspension handles and rides far better than the stock leaf-spring design, while coilovers allow adjustable ride height. We provide RS SV by Fox coilovers that help you fine-tune ride height. Kilgore Kustoms supplies a rear axle to accommodate wide rubber in conjunction with Roadster Shop’s SPEC rear frame rail width. Your F-body must be mini-tubbed to take full advantage of this wide rubber feature. - Rear Axle Width: Narrowed 54.5”
