Modernize your 1955-1959 Chevy 3100 pickup with a Roadster Shop SPEC Series chassis.  Roadster Shop calls this chassis their “Standard” drop version — as opposed to their slammed drop version. This Standard chassis will significantly lower your 3100 pickup and is easier to live with than the Slammed version.  This complete chassis radically improves your truck’s ride quality, steering, and handling. Roadster Shop’s “Laser-Rails” technology cuts and contours all frame rails and crossmembers for a perfect fit and true bolt-on installation. Kilgore Kustoms orders Roadster Shop SPEC chassis kits in configurations that deliver exceptional handling and ride quality, with an awesome stance.   We order these chassis kits with RS SV by Fox coilovers that help you fine-tune ride height. Kilgore Kustoms supplies a standard rear axle that can accommodate wide rubber in conjunction with Roadster Shop’s SPEC rear frame rail width.  Your truck’s bed must be mini-tubbed to take full advantage of this feature.  This chassis has been pre-ordered with the following upgrades, features, and specifications. 55-59 3100 SPEC Chassis Features Standard Drop

• Standard drop (slammed version available)
• RS exclusive “Laser Rails” precision CNC laser cut and contoured Crossmembers and chassis bracing to allow for 3″•exhaust.
• No floor modifications are required for chassis installation
• Trans tunnel mods may be necessary for larger T-56 and 4L80 transmissions
• Utilizes factory body, bumper, and core support mounts for a true bolt-on installation

• UPDATED: Roadster Shop Hub-type Spindle with Chevy 5 × 4.75″ bolt pattern
• Roadster Shop SV by Fox fixed valve mono-tube coilovers
• Power rack & pinion steering
• Easy to adjust upper a-arm eccentric mounts for fast and accurate alignments

SPEC Rear Suspension:

• Parallel 4-Bar rear suspension
• RS SV by Fox fixed valve mono-tube coilovers
• Ford 9″ housing with 31 spline axles with Chevy 5 × 4.75″ bolt pattern
• Rear frame rails will accommodate up to a 345mm wide tire (when mini-tubbed)
